About

Ornate porcelain Maneki Neko or popularly known as Lucky Cat. The beckoning cat is a sign of wealth in Japanese and Chinses culture. The “mori” style refers to raised loops and other decorative motifs applied by squeezing a tube of slip onto the body of the cat much like applying frosting to a cake. The cat has details like bells and a handkerchief around its neck. The artist seal is on the bottom of the cat.
