Artist Biography

Helen Belton Orman's life was ended suddenly at a gas station in the Rice Village area in Houston one day when someone shot her. She was a teacher at Houston Community College, and studied at the Glassell School of Art. She recieved her bachelor's and masters degree from the University of North Carolina. She worked with various materials including watercolor and collages.
