Modern black and white abstract city landscape painting by Swiss artist Max Gunther. The work features a central line of loosely rendered gestural buildings. Signed by artist in front lower right corner. Currently hung in a solid black frame.

Max Günther was a Swiss artist who was born in 1934 in Zurich, Switzerland. He studied all over Europe before he toured the United States in the 1960s, where some of his first exhibits were done. He moved to Rome, Italy where his life was cut short in a car accident in 1974. His work heavily focused on abstract cityscapes and lithograph work.
