Blue and orange abstract impressionist still life lithograph of plants, fruit, and containers on a table. Signed, dated, and titled along lower edge of the piece in pencil by the artist. Hung in complimentary neutral frame with a cream matte.

Artist Biography

Born in 1923, Bill Condon was a native Houstonian, a practicing architect and a fine artist in his home town. He received a BA in architecture from Rice Institute in 1949 and assumed a position in the architectural firm of Broesche and Condon Associates. As an artist, Condon was ingenious, excelling as a print-maker and painter. Condon showed regularly in the Annual Exhibition of Work by Houston Artists from 1954 to 1962. Condon passed away in 1998.
